Halo Spool

The Halo Spool is the latest addition to the Apeks Lifeline family, and it's a genuine step forward for SMB spools. With 30 metres of line and a larger diameter than most, it sits comfortably in the hand and makes deploying your SMB — and retrieving the line afterwards — simple and controlled, even with thick gloves on. Machined from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminium and built in the UK, the Halo is designed to last. A line pivot keeps things tangle-free on deployment, and the sewn (rather than tied) line connection gives extra strength where it counts. Features: High-visibility orange line — easy to spot even in low-light conditions. Line pivot — prevents tangling and twisting during SMB deployment. Machined from aircraft-grade aluminium — a single piece of construction for durability, finished with an anodised coating. Not over-wound — leaves room to add extra line if you need it. Sewn line attachment — increases strength over a traditional tied connection. Easy release pulls — quick, fuss-free deployment. Includes stainless steel carabiner — ready to clip on and go.
