A reel like no other, the Apeks Lifeline Ascend takes the humble SMB reel and pushes it up a level. Designed and built in the UK, it's exactly what you'd expect from Apeks — proper engineering, sensible details, and kit that just works when you need it to.
The 30 metre Lifeline Ascend is built to make deploying your delayed SMB genuinely easy, whether you're a righty or a lefty. The reel is smooth to operate even with thick gloves on, thanks to a high-grip rubber handle, and the stainless-steel attachment point means it clips on securely and stays put until you need it.
Features:
Integrated SMB attachment point — keeps storage and deployment simple, no fiddling with your SMB when it matters.
High-grip rubber handle — easy to hold and operate whether you're bare-handed or gloved up.
User-changeable configuration — switch between left and right-hand use depending on how you dive.
30 metres of high-visibility line — high tensile strength line that's easy to spot even in low-light conditions.

30 metres covers the vast majority of recreational deployments, giving you plenty of line to send an SMB up from depth with room to spare.
