The blade carries a built-in line cutter alongside the main edge, and a P.V.D. surface treatment that keeps it resisting oxidisation dive after dive — handy if you're diving in saltwater regularly and don't want to be scrubbing rust off your gear between trips. The handle is soft overmoulded for a secure grip even with wet or gloved hands, and the release system is designed to work cleanly under pressure, gloves and all. It comes with the standard mounting accessories to fasten straight onto Mares BCDs, bags, and hoses, so setup is straightforward if you're already running Mares kit.
