The Scubapro Crystal VU Mask & Snorkel Set is a brilliant combination of field of view, features and price.
The Crystal Vu Mask has an amazing field of vision thanks to its seamless three panel lens, making it one of our best selling single lens masks in the shop.
The Spectra Dry Snorkel is a large bore tube for effortless breathing with a dry top valve designed to deflected splashed water away from the opening and seal it up entirely if it drops below the water surface, making clearing really easy. It also features a purge chamber and one-way valve below the mouthpiece to drain and clear any water that does manage to get in.
Face Fit: The Scubapro Crystal VU Mask features a low-volume, single-lens design with seamless side windows, providing a wide field of vision. Its silicone skirt offers a comfortable and secure watertight seal, making it suitable for most adult faces with medium to larger sizes. Due to its size and fit, it may not be ideal for smaller or narrower faces, so it’s best suited for adults rather than younger teenagers.
Keep Your Mask Crystal Clear – No More Fog!
New masks often fog up straight out of the box – and there’s a reason for that! During production, a thin film of silicone builds up on the inside of the lenses, and regular cleaners just don’t cut it.
That’s where Sea Buff comes in. This specialised mask scrub contains fine, non-damaging crystals that gently remove the silicone residue and help prevent fogging. Just apply a small amount to the inside of each lens and use your fingertip to polish in circular motions. You’ll feel the texture doing the work. Take your time – about 10 minutes – for the best results.
Once you’ve properly prepped your mask, follow up with an anti-fog treatment like McNett Sea Drops before each snorkel or dive to keep your vision crystal clear every time you hit the water.
